Japanese golf instructor Toru Munemitsu has published a short lesson arguing that golfers should keep their courage and avoid slowing down the club when hitting approach shots from poor lies. He says decelerating out of fear is what causes mishits, and that committing fully to the swing, even from awkward ground, is key to more consistent play around the green.
Why now: Japanese golfers are sharing practical instruction on handling difficult lies as the topic circulates in golf communities.
