Original: Poison Ivy Show in Early Development with Penguin Showrunner in Talks to Produce

A television series centered on the DC villain Poison Ivy is in early development, with Lauren LeFranc, showrunner of The Penguin, reportedly in talks to produce the project. If confirmed, it would mark a high-profile villain-led expansion of DC's TV slate, following the critical success of The Penguin. Details on casting, network, and story remain undisclosed while the project is at such a preliminary stage.

Why now: Following the success of The Penguin, news of another DC villain-focused series with its showrunner attached has drawn attention.
