Stock libraries filling with AI content, publishers push back
Original: 🎨 The stock libraries we rely on for photos, footage and music are filling up with AI slop, and pushing us towards plans
Transport Evolved says the stock photo, footage and music libraries it relies on are increasingly flooded with low-quality AI-generated material, while subscription plans are becoming unaffordable. The publication is appealing to photographers, videographers and musicians to contribute their own original work for its videos, framing the move as a way to avoid AI slop and rising costs.
Why now: Frustration is growing over AI-generated content crowding stock libraries and pushing up subscription prices.
