Group helps Indigenous leaders fund climate solutions
Original: Indigenous leaders have # climate solutions. This group helps them get funding. https:// yaleclimateconnections.org/202
Indigenous leaders are increasingly recognized as holders of effective climate solutions, but they often lack access to funding. A group highlighted by Yale Climate Connections works to connect these leaders with the financial resources needed to carry out their projects. Coverage emphasizes that Indigenous communities have long practiced sustainable land stewardship, and that directing money to them is seen as a practical and underused path for climate action.
Why now: Growing interest in Indigenous-led approaches to climate change and the funding barriers they face.
