Pro Sports Seasons Collide in Busiest Stretch of Year
Original: A Grip on Sports: We are about to enter the spookiest time of year, when all the pro sports collide and there is no time to do anything but sit and watch
A sports column from The Spokesman-Review argues that the spookiest time of the year is not Halloween but the stretch when all the major professional sports seasons overlap. With baseball, football, basketball and hockey all running at once, fans face a packed schedule that leaves little time for anything but watching games.
Why now: The overlapping peak of multiple professional sports seasons has arrived, giving fans more simultaneous games than they can follow.
