Only Four Players Committed To LIV 2.0 Before Deadline

Original: The Reason Only Four Players Committed To LIV 2.0 Before The Deadline

Only four players committed to LIV Golf's new initiative, dubbed LIV 2.0, before the deadline passed, according to Yahoo Sports. The low number of commitments has drawn attention to the ongoing struggles of the Saudi-backed circuit to attract top talent, and to lingering uncertainty around player contracts, rankings points and the tour's long-term future.

Why now: The small number of sign-ups highlights doubts about LIV Golf's ability to compete with the PGA Tour for top players.
