Disabled homeless man weighs unclear Montana housing letter
Original: Maybe it's a # housing offer. More likely, it's an information verification letter. Not sure I actually want to live in
A disabled, homeless man in the United States says he received a letter he cannot easily classify — possibly a housing offer, more likely a request to verify his information. He notes he is unsure he wants to live in Montana, but feels he cannot be picky given his circumstances. The situation highlights how difficult and uncertain the housing search remains for disabled homeless people, who often must accept whatever opportunity arises.
Why now: It sheds light on the desperation and lack of choice facing disabled homeless people navigating unclear housing opportunities.
Evidence
- Maybe it's a # housing offer. More likely, it's an information verification letter. Not sure I actually want to live in Montana, but I'm # disabled and # homeless and don't have the luxury of being picky. · pronounshe@lgbtqia.space · 2
