Original: Run full iOS 16.5 firmware on Android Devices

A project called HackiOS, hosted on GitHub, claims to boot the full iOS 16.5 firmware, including Apple's XNU kernel, on Android devices. The announcement drew significant attention on Hacker News, where users are debating whether the port is genuine and technically feasible, given the enormous hardware and driver differences between iPhones and Android handsets.

Why now: Running Apple's iOS on non-Apple hardware would be a major and controversial technical feat, sparking curiosity and skepticism.
