Families dial in as dozens of authors read stories by phone

Callers dialling an automated story line are finding a surprisingly long directory of authors taking part, with the menu running to multiple pages. One parent reported listening to readings by Monique Gray Smith and Kai Cheng Thom, describing the experience as unlike any automated phone directory they had used before, and noting the wide range of children's authors available.
Why now: The novelty of a phone service with so many authors reading children's stories is delighting parents and the book community.
