Piyush Goyal challenges Europe over climate change record
Original: 'Who did most harm to Ozone layer?': Piyush Goyal holds up the mirror to Europe on climate change
India's Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal questioned Europe's standing on climate change, asking who had done the most harm to the ozone layer while urging wealthy nations to reflect on their own historical emissions. The remarks came as India pushes back against carbon border measures and climate obligations it sees as unfairly placed on developing economies.
