Chaos and layoffs at Copenhagen's Kastrup airport

Original: kastrup

Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, is under pressure on two fronts. Passengers report long security queues causing them to miss flights, with Swedish media describing the situation as chaos and advising travellers to take it slow. Separately, Norwegian has notified 125 employees at the airport that they may be laid off, adding to the disruption surrounding Denmark's main hub.

Why now: Travel disruption and job cut announcements at Denmark's main airport are hitting travellers right now.
