Original: "You messed about I caught you out Howzat?" Sherbet - Howzat: https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=aOPEhg_dNPE # PlayTime #
The 1976 hit 'Howzat' by Australian band Sherbet is being shared and quoted again, with its cricket-inspired title and lyrics like 'You messed about, I caught you out' drawing fresh attention. The song, which topped charts in Australia, borrows cricket terminology for its tale of romantic betrayal, making it a favourite reference point during cricket discussions.
Why now: The song's cricket references make it a popular share whenever cricket is in the spotlight.
