Some 10,000 Minecraft players have staged a large-scale simulation of the Cold War inside the game, organised into opposing blocs competing for influence without direct conflict. The event is drawing massive attention online, with viewers fascinated by how the sandbox game can model nuclear-era diplomacy, espionage and proxy standoffs between thousands of participants at once.
