Starlink restrictions not lifted in Ukraine despite Trump's claims
Ukrainian forces are still experiencing disruptions to Starlink battlefield communications despite Donald Trump's assertion that restrictions on the satellite network have been lifted. The continuing outages have raised fresh questions in Kyiv and among allies about Ukraine's reliance on a communications network controlled by an American company, and about the accuracy of Washington's statements on military support.
Why now: Trump's claim conflicts with reports of ongoing Starlink disruptions for Ukrainian troops, prompting debate over Ukraine's dependence on the network.
