Cricket world buzzing over Lyon omission and PSL plans

Original: cricket

Cricket is dominating sports conversation across several countries. Nathan Lyon's surprise omission from Australia's side is being debated as a possible turning point rather than just a pitch-based call. New Zealand face India in the second T20I in Christchurch, while the Pakistan Cricket Board is reportedly weighing a six-overs-a-side PSL Sixes franchise tournament, prompting discussion about where modern cricket is heading.

Why now: Multiple simultaneous cricket stories, including Lyon's dropping, a live NZ-India T20I and proposed PSL reforms, are driving searches in Australia, Britain and India.
