Woman in political ad accusing Democrat of endangering kids pleaded guilty to same charge
Original: Woman in ad who said a Democrat endangers kids pleaded guilty to endangering kids
A woman featured in a political advertisement accusing a Democrat of endangering children has herself pleaded guilty to endangering children, The Washington Post reports. The revelation has drawn criticism and mockery online, with people highlighting the contradiction between her role in the ad and her own guilty plea in court.
Why now: The stark irony of the ad's central messenger being guilty of the very accusation she made is driving attention.
