Scientists Invited to Answer Playfully Absurd Physics Questions

A science outreach prompt is circulating online inviting physicists to answer tongue-in-cheek questions about entropy, dust 'galaxies' on the floor, dark matter under the bed, and why things explode on Saturdays. Participants are told to pick their favourite question, with a nod to Doctor Who. The mix of real concepts like entropy and dark matter with household jokes is drawing amused engagement from the science community.
Why now: The playful blend of genuine physics concepts with absurd everyday questions invites scientists and laypeople alike to joke and explain science in an accessible way.
