George A. Romero directed a 1990s Resident Evil commercial
Original: George A. Romero never got his Resident Evil movie - but he did make this 1990s live action commercial
A renewed look at George A. Romero's work on Resident Evil highlights that the Dawn of the Dead director, though hired in the 1990s to develop a live-action film adaptation of Capcom's horror game, never saw the project greenlit. What survives is a Japanese live-action commercial he directed for the original game. Fans continue to discuss how close Romero came to shaping the franchise on film.
