Sharad Purnima falls on two dates this year: October 25 and 26

Original: શરદ પૂર્ણિમા

This year's Sharad Purnima, the full moon of the Hindu month of Asho, is being observed across two dates, October 25 and 26, because of the timing of the full moon. Traditional practices include Lakshmi Puja and keeping kheer under moonlight overnight. Devotional and lifestyle outlets are sharing the dates and rituals as families prepare for the festival.

Why now: The unusual two-day timing of the festival has people checking which date to observe the rituals.
