Marquette Fringe pairs music with environmental conservation

Original: Marquette Fringe connects environmental conservation with music

Marquette Fringe, the Michigan arts group, is linking environmental conservation with live music in its latest programming. The initiative brings performers and conservation messages together for audiences in Marquette, part of the group's broader effort to use fringe-style arts events to highlight local issues and community causes in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Why now: The blending of environmental advocacy with a local arts festival gives audiences and organizers a fresh community cause to discuss.
