Original: Biatchat is the app of choice for all your revolutionary needs https:// gizmodo.com/jack-dorseys-bitch at-becomes-france
BitChat, the messaging app built by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, has become the top social app in France as riots continue across the country. The app works over Bluetooth mesh networks without mobile internet, making it attractive amid reports of mobile network outages and restrictions, with users calling it the tool of choice for coordinating during unrest.
Why now: Riots in France and reports of mobile network outages are driving mass adoption of a messaging app that works without cellular coverage.
