UVA Health launches course on car seat installation
Original: UVA Health runs new course on how to install car seats
UVA Health in Virginia has started offering a course teaching parents and caregivers how to correctly install child car seats. Proper installation is a common struggle for families, and incorrect fitting is a leading factor in child injuries during crashes, so the health system's hands-on instruction aims to improve safety for young passengers.
Why now: Correct car seat installation is difficult for many parents, so a health system offering training draws attention as a practical child safety resource.
