BC Green leader pushes back on NDP vote-splitting warning
Original: green party leader bc
In British Columbia, the NDP is warning progressive voters that backing the Green party could split the vote and hand seats to the opposition. The Green leader is pushing back strongly against that message, arguing voters should support the party they believe in rather than fear splitting the left-of-centre vote. Vaughn Palmer's column in the Vancouver Sun highlights the escalating dispute between the two parties.
Why now: Vote-splitting between the NDP and Greens is a live issue in BC provincial politics as an election or campaign period draws attention.
