German-speaking bookbinders swap craft questions online
Original: Gibt's denn hier Deutsch sprechende Buchbinder, oder solche die es interessiert? Wie lang macht ihr das schon; Hobby ode
A German-speaking user has opened a discussion aimed at bookbinders, asking how long they have practised the craft, whether it is a hobby or profession, and where they stand on techniques like thread binding versus glue. The post also asks whether vegan or synthetic leather works as a cover material and invites explanations of specialist bookbinding terms.
Why now: The craft community is engaging with practical questions about bookbinding materials and techniques.
