Royal Caribbean cruise bound for Bahamas diverts to Canada
Original: oasis of the seas
A Royal Caribbean cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas, was scheduled to sail to the Bahamas but instead went to Canada, according to the New York Post. Passengers on the Bahamas-bound voyage found themselves redirected north, and the unexpected change of itinerary is drawing attention and discussion about the reasons behind the rerouting.
Why now: The unusual diversion of a major cruise ship from its advertised destination is surprising travellers.
