YouTuber Buys Every AI Scam Sold on TikTok
Original: I Bought Every AI Scam on TikTok
YouTuber Layze is drawing large audiences with a video in which he says he purchased every AI-related scam product being promoted on TikTok, then tested what actually arrived. The stunt has picked up nearly two million likes, with viewers reacting to the gap between the AI-powered gadgets advertised in viral clips and the low-quality items buyers receive, fuelling wider criticism of misleading AI product marketing on the platform.
Why now: Frustration with viral AI scam products and curiosity about whether they actually work are driving wide interest.
