BLACKPINK member Lisa's 2023 performance at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris remains the controversy that truly hurt her career, according to a widely shared post. It argues the damage came mainly from losing a large fanbase in China, where the show drew strong criticism, and that she suffered less from the decision itself than from her failure to counter a wave of false claims about the venue at the time.

• the only "controversy" that really affected Lisa was the Crazy Horse one because she lost a huge fandom in China, but she lost more not because she decided to perform there but because she simply didn't know how to counter the mountain of fake news about the place at the time, · mitskyyu · 1.9K
