Actor Shutarō Mamiya appears fully nude playing piano in Takashi Miike's new film 'Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo', a scene being described as typical of the director's famously direct approach. The Japanese-language remake-adjacent entry in the Bad Lieutenant series also stars Shun Oguri, Nanao, Nana Seino and Shūhei Nomura, with Sam Pressman among the production credits. Interest centres on Mamiya's bold performance and Miike's uncompromising style.
Why now: A Japanese star's full-frontal scene in a high-profile Miike film has just drawn attention around its release.
