Long-running Hardcore Minecraft world tackles ocean monument drainage
Original: 1400+ Day Hardcore World - DRAINING an OCEAN MONUMENT!!! Let's Finish the Temple!
A Minecraft player is continuing a hardcore survival world that has lasted more than 1,400 in-game days, with the current project focused on draining an ocean monument and finishing the temple build inside it. Draining a monument is one of the most demanding projects in the game, requiring removal of huge volumes of water, and the sheer age of the world in hardcore mode, where a single death ends it permanently, is drawing attention.
Why now: The rare combination of an extremely long-lived hardcore world and a large-scale ocean monument drain is capturing viewers' interest.
