Etsy's engineering team has published a post on its Code as Craft blog describing an augmented reality measuring box, a tool designed to help with sizing tasks using AR rather than a physical tape measure. The playful write-up frames the project as Etsy's answer to "Big Tape Measure," and it is being shared among tech and engineering readers interested in practical augmented reality applications.
Why now: The engineering community is discussing Etsy's practical, lighthearted take on augmented reality for everyday measurement tasks.
