Bondi sand scattered at Nova festival site memorial
Original: A piece of Bondi scattered at Nova
Sand from Bondi has been scattered at the site of the Nova music festival in Israel, where Hamas-led attackers killed hundreds of people on October 7, 2023. The gesture links the Australian beach community with the Israeli victims' memorial site, drawing attention from Jewish communities in both countries following the Bondi attack.
Why now: The symbolic act connects the recent Bondi tragedy in Sydney with the October 7 Nova massacre, resonating strongly with Jewish communities worldwide.
