Tesla cancels Cybertruck in Australia and New Zealand

Original: Tesla cancels Cybertruck in Australia and NZ after 7 years of deposits

Tesla has cancelled the Cybertruck for customers in Australia and New Zealand, ending a wait of around seven years during which many had paid deposits for the vehicle. Buyers who reserved the angular electric pickup years ago will reportedly not receive the truck at all, and attention is turning to how Tesla will refund deposits and why the model is being pulled from markets that never received it.

Why now: Customers who waited years and paid deposits are losing the vehicle they ordered, sparking backlash and questions about Tesla's international plans.
