Original: ‘Gears of War: E-Day’ returns series to its roots, but not its heights | Video Game Odyssey
A new review of 'Gears of War: E-Day' argues the prequel brings the franchise back to its roots but falls short of the series' best moments. The piece suggests the game recaptures the tone and atmosphere of the early entries while lacking the impact of the series' previous highs.
