Original: Billionaire Palmer Luckey co-launches Warhound, a startup for bioengineered military dogs

Billionaire Palmer Luckey, the Oculus founder and Anduril chief, has co-launched Warhound, a new startup focused on creating bioengineered military dogs. The venture aims to apply biotechnology to enhance working dogs for defense purposes, extending Luckey's footprint in military tech beyond drones and autonomous systems built at Anduril Industries.

Why now: The unusual combination of a high-profile defense tech founder and genetically engineered military animals makes it striking novelty news.
