Following Serbia's parliamentary elections, the Student Ticket movement says the incoming government will not impose sanctions on Russia. The announcement drew criticism, with observers noting the movement's stated position on Russia mirrors the long-standing policy of President Aleksandar Vučić's party, despite the movement positioning itself as an alternative to his rule.
Why now: The movement won the elections and its line on Russia sanctions signals continuity with Vučić's foreign policy, surprising supporters expecting change.
