US restores intelligence sharing with Ukraine, Starlink back on

The United States has fully restored intelligence sharing with Ukraine and lifted restrictions on Starlink and Starshield, according to a statement attributed to President Trump. The move follows claims that Elon Musk had restricted Starlink access critical to Ukraine's air defences, and that pressure from world leaders pushed for the reversal. Critics accuse Trump of favoring Putin, while supporters hail the restoration as a lifeline for Ukrainian forces.

Why now: A sudden reversal on US support for Ukraine's defences has reignited debate over Trump's stance on Russia and Musk's wartime role.
