Ukrainian man detained after paragliding across border into Moldova
Original: 🪂 Еще один смельчак перелетел из Украины в Молдову на параплане Украинские пограничники заметили, как мужчина незаконно
Ukrainian border guards spotted a man illegally crossing the border by paraglider on the Chernivtsi–Larga section and alerted their Moldovan counterparts. Moldovan services detained him roughly two kilometres from the state border. It is at least the second such paraglider crossing reported recently, drawing attention to gaps in border surveillance on the Ukraine–Moldova frontier.
Why now: An unusual illegal border crossing method and repeat incidents are raising questions about frontier security.
