Original: German Police Investigating If Teens Were Piloting Robot That Groped 16-Year-Old Girl https://gizmodo.com/german-police-

German police are investigating an incident in which a 16-year-old girl was groped by a robot, examining whether teenagers were remotely piloting the machine at the time. The case has drawn attention because it raises unresolved legal questions about who is responsible when a robot is used to harm someone, and how such acts should be prosecuted.

Why now: It is an unusual alleged crime that tests legal responsibility for harm caused by robots and their remote operators.
