The EPA Is Quietly Deleting Its Web Archive

Original: The EPA Is Quietly Killing Its Web Archive

The Environmental Protection Agency is removing large portions of its online archive, according to Mother Jones. Reportedly affected material includes pages on Camp Lejeune water contamination and the Clean Power Plan, dating from the Trump-era and current leadership under Administrator Lee Zeldin. Critics warn the deletions reduce public access to environmental records and scientific documentation that researchers, journalists, and affected communities rely on.

Why now: Readers are alarmed that a federal agency is erasing public access to environmental and public-health records.
