Osimhen praises Russian midfielder Batrakov

Original: виктор осимхен

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has praised Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Alexey Batrakov, calling him an incredible player and saying he would envy any club that had him. The comments are drawing attention from Russian football fans and media, coming amid wider discussion of the Russian Premier League and player quality. Osimhen, one of the world's most prominent forwards currently playing in Turkey, rarely comments on Russian football, making the remarks notable.

Why now: A world-class striker unexpectedly praising a young Russian league player is rare and generates buzz among Russian football fans.
