Tarczynski tells EU leaders they are weakening Europe, not Trump
Original: Tarczynski Slams EU "this is not Trump's fault, it's you whoare making Europe weak"
Polish MEP Ryszard Tarczynski has sharply criticised EU institutions, telling them: "this is not Trump's fault, it's you who are making Europe weak." The remarks, delivered during a European Parliament exchange, push back against blame directed at the US administration for Europe's troubles and instead place responsibility on EU leadership itself. The fiery intervention has drawn wide attention, with supporters cheering the rebuke and critics calling it populist posturing.
Why now: Ongoing tensions between the EU and the Trump administration have reignited debate in the European Parliament over who is responsible for Europe's declining global standing.
