A home gardener in the Pacific Northwest has picked the final sweet peppers of the season ahead of the autumn rains, which were beginning to spoil some of the fruit. They report a bumper harvest this year, with sweet peppers featuring in meals for months, and plan to try overwintering a couple of plants indoors for an earlier start next season.
