Footage captured by Diana Krauthamer shows a crowd of around 60,000 chanting 'Free Palestine' during a free benefit concert on the National Mall in Washington. The October 24 concert, held near the Washington Monument, also raised funds for humanitarian causes. The large, unified chant at a mainstream music event has drawn wide attention and discussion.

Why now: The scale of the protest chant at a major public concert in the US capital is striking amid ongoing Gaza-related tensions.
