Federal prosecutors say a man who allegedly mailed envelopes containing a white substance to members of Congress also printed his own return address on the mailings, according to the Department of Justice. The claim, reported by ABC News, has drawn attention for its apparent ease of attribution. No further details about the suspect, the substance or any charges are given in the report.
Why now: The unusual detail that the suspect allegedly included his own address on the envelopes makes the case notable amid ongoing concerns about threats to lawmakers.
