Original: mark nawaqanitawase rugby union return

Former Wallabies winger Lote Tuqiri has publicly backed Mark Nawaqanitawase's return to rugby union, arguing there is 'a calling' for the code-hopper to come back. Tuqiri also criticised Australian rugby for wasting the talents of prop Taniela Lomax. The comments have stirred debate among fans about player management and the Wallabies' handling of cross-code athletes in Australia.

Why now: Tuqiri's public endorsement has reignited debate about the Wallabies losing or underusing star players.
