An artist has shared a new drawing of Rhan-Tegoth, a monstrous entity from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, describing it as the terror of the hominids. The creature, associated with the story 'The Horror in the Museum' co-written with Hazel Heald, is part of the wider pantheon of Great Old Ones. The piece is being shared among horror art and Lovecraft fandom circles.

Why now: Lovecraftian horror art regularly circulates in fandom and art communities, drawing engagement from fans of the mythos
