A photographer has shared how they converted an old point-and-shoot camera into a homemade "Camp Snap" using cardboard, hot glue and a paperclip, documenting the build in a blog post. The project is catching attention among photography and DIY hobby circles, with readers encouraging others to boost and share the write-up as an example of low-cost, repair-and-reuse making.
Why now: DIY and repair-culture enthusiasts are drawn to the cheap, resourceful transformation of an old camera into a retro-style snapshot device.
