Pokémon Unite to shut down in March

Original: pokémon unite

TiMi Studio's free-to-play MOBA Pokémon Unite will end service on March 23. However, a new library feature will let players access some of the game's content even after the servers go offline, a rare gesture for a live-service title. Fans are reacting to the closure of the Nintendo Switch and mobile game, which launched in 2021, and debating how the post-shutdown library will work.

Why now: The announcement of an end-of-service date for a popular free-to-play game has prompted fans to discuss the shutdown and the unusual library feature.
