Amit Shah dismisses 'vote chori' claims, predicts 30 years of BJP rule
Original: “Whey I say BJP govt will be here for 30 yrs, they say 'vote chori'. I was born here & will die here, I don't have to go
Union Home Minister Amit Shah fired back at opposition accusations of electoral fraud, saying that whenever he predicts the BJP government will remain in power for 30 years, critics respond with cries of 'vote chori' (vote theft). He added that he was born in India and will die there, and does not need to travel abroad every six months, in a pointed retort to his detractors.
Why now: Amit Shah's combative response to opposition 'vote chori' allegations is sparking wide political debate in India.
