A new online experiment invites people interested in LaTeX and technical text layout to take part in a blind typesetting comparison, judging rendered documents without knowing which engine produced them. The person sharing it says they tended to prefer LaTeX output even when they could not recognise it, and is asking others to try the test and compare their instincts on layout quality.
Why now: It lets typography-minded users test whether their preference for LaTeX is real or just familiarity.
